Design Notes:
This large slice of superconductor was finished with inspiration from the Swiss watch manufacturers. Many fine hand built watches use a finishing technique called Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève) which involves polishing the surface with parallel lines. It is a decorative grinding technique. This piece is intended for display.
